Hi, I’m Alayna.
Hello!Throughout my life, I have always been an observer and listener. I am fascinated by people and inspired by them, too. People have an incredible ability to persist in the face of challenges, often in the most creative ways. I believe people are always trying their best, and we all have the capacity for growth.
My passion for this work is both professional and personal. Having my own experiences with complex trauma has deepened my compassion for the healing process and allows me to meet clients with authenticity, understanding, and hope. I began my own healing journey more than a decade ago, and I would not have gotten through it without the help of others. It’s my hope that I can be that helper for others, too.
My favorite moments in therapy are when I hear clients say, “Yes! You get me.” I strive to deeply understand my clients and their experiences. My approach goes beyond simply talking about what happened. I believe healing involves the whole person—mind and body. I have more than six years of experience providing therapy in outpatient and school-based settings. I have supported individuals navigating childhood trauma, PTSD, depression, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. I incorporate evidence-based, experiential, and body-based practices to help clients process difficult experiences, regulate their nervous systems, and develop a deeper sense of safety and connection within themselves.
Outside of the therapy room, I find joy in creating flower arrangements, eating good food with friends and family, and trying to keep my houseplants alive. I hope you’re able to feel some joy today, too!

What It’s Like Working With Me
Warm & Relational
My practice is grounded in a client-centered approach. This means that we go at a pace that feels comfortable for you. There will be times when I challenge unhelpful thoughts or patterns, but I always strive to offer this in the context of unconditional positive regard.
Collaborative
My goal is to deeply understand you, and your perspective on how the experiences you’ve had in your life shape who you are. You are the expert on your life. We will work together to create therapy goals, and find the best approaches to meet those goals.
Authentic Connection
I strive to bring authenticity to every session. I am human, just like you, and a fellow traveler on this journey of life. I’m here to walk alongside you with compassion, curiosity, and your best interests at heart.
