I am an out-of-network provider and offer private-pay therapy sessions at a rate of $185 per 50-minute session.
If you have out-of-network benefits, I can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement, depending on your individual plan.
I also work with select insurance clients through third-party platforms. During your consultation call, we can discuss available payment options and determine what may be the best fit for your needs.
-
Payment is collected at the end of each session. I accept cash, checks, credit cards, and HSA/FSA cards for your convenience.scription
-
I kindly ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows me the opportunity to offer the time to another client. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, as well as missed appointments, may be charged the full session fee.

Many people come to therapy already understanding why they struggle—but still feel stuck.
That's because trauma isn't stored only in our thoughts. It also affects the body, the nervous system, and the ways we automatically respond to ourselves and others.
In addition to traditional talk therapy, I incorporate experiential approaches such as EMDR and Sand Tray Therapy to help process trauma on a deeper level, supporting lasting healing rather than simply managing symptoms.

Many adults are surprised when they hear that I use sand tray therapy. While it may look simple, it's actually a powerful, evidence-informed approach that helps people access experiences that can be difficult to express with words alone.
Trauma, grief, attachment wounds, and overwhelming life experiences aren't always stored as a clear story. They often live in our emotions, body sensations, images, and relationship patterns. That's why talking about what happened can be incredibly important—but sometimes it isn't enough to help us fully heal.
In sand tray therapy, you'll use miniature figures and a tray of sand to create scenes that represent your inner experience. There isn't a right or wrong way to do it, and you don't need to be creative or artistic. The focus isn't on making something beautiful—it's on giving shape to thoughts, emotions, and experiences that may be hard to put into words.
Because your experiences are represented outside of yourself, many people find they can observe and process difficult memories with greater curiosity, distance, and a sense of safety. This often leads to new insight, emotional processing, and deeper healing.
Research on sand tray therapy is still growing, but early studies suggest it may help adults process trauma, increase emotional regulation, and reduce trauma-related symptoms when used by a trained therapist. I integrate sand tray thoughtfully alongside talk therapy and other trauma-informed approaches, using it only when it feels appropriate for your goals and comfort level.
You never have to use sand tray if it doesn't feel like the right fit. Therapy is collaborative, and together we'll decide what approaches best support your healing. description
